Girl Scouts of Western Ohio’s media outreach was successfully expanded to include girl stories outside of the Girl Scout Cookie Program. I pitched a National S’mores Day story to news stations in four local cities and coordinated with the producers. Girl Scouts were featured on morning shows across the entire council for National S’mores Day on August 10, 2021.
