Ball State’s award-winning, student-run newspaper The Ball State Daily site is updated regularly, seven days a week, and the paper publishes once a week. I wrote stories for the feature section as a reporter.
Retiring after working at Ball State for 51 years, Jerry Ault worked at the on-campus post office. I had the pleasure of interviewing him and learning more of Ball State’s history.
I covered speakers that came to campus, like Amy Webb. I wrote previews and follow-ups on the speaker’s lecture. I had the opportunity to interview with the speakers before they spoke on campus.
For the holiday seasons, I write how-tos on do-it-yourself decorations and recipes. One of my favorites is about Thanksgiving decorations.
